Un-Pizza Night on Aug 17, 2016 at Gemato's BBQ in Naperville, Illinois.

Gemato’s Chrysler Couplets  by Cathy Jugle

Couldn’t believe that we got twenty-two!
Hoped that the rain wouldn’t scare off our crew.

Really got lucky. We made it! Of course,
You gotta trust Mopars to show up in force!

Sebrings arrived with M.C, Barb and John.
Loved seeing Guy’s Charger with all of its brawn.

Exceptional Plymouths! Scott and Ed’s fine New Yorkers!
Rosander’s Liberty! Jim’s Coronet! Real corkers!

Plymouths showed up with Tim Cooney’s ’50.
Liked Charles Taylor’s Valiant, which looked might nifty.

You knew there’d be classics like Steve’s ‘46
Matched up with Severes’ ’37 in the mix.

Our Magnum was Brennan’s, then Chuck’s ’08 Dodge,
Until Sutton’s Newport came out of his garage.

The two big 300s (Dave Kinkel’s and Szar’s)
Held all the old glory of great muscle cars.

Despite all that power, it did come to pass
Our Hari’s fine Newport just added some class.

Don’t want to forget Frank and Phylliss. They winged it.
Got a ’65 ‘Cuda, but they didn’t bring-ed it.

Even the vans showed up, like big tanks,
Mixed with Jugles’ and Herrmanns’ , the ’02 was Frank’s.

One thing I do pray must be said here, Oh Lord!
Please forgive Floyd who opted to come in his Ford!

And if you enjoyed all these verses just fine,
Read all the first letters just straight down the line.
