Our parent organization is the WPC Club, Inc.,, named after Walter P. Chrysler, founder of the Chrysler Corporation is a world-wide, non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of Chrysler Products, including Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler, Imperial, Fargo, Jeep, Eagle and related vehicles, including predecessors Maxwell and Chalmers Motor Cars.
The WPC Club Hosts Annual North American Meets with all members invited. For local activities, we have a number of club regions situated in various areas of the USA, Canada and Europe.
Included in the annual membership dues, is the bi-monthly color newsmagazine, The WPC News which has been a multiple-time winner of the Golden Quill Award. It is a high quality magazine that features interesting articles on many Chrysler Products and history of the Corporation, as well as technical information and free classified advertising for all members. We invite you to join our national organization.
The Northern Illinois Region, one of the largest regions of the WPC Club, Inc., provides various activities in a friendly, non-competitive manner. Over 150 member families give us the unique position of having cars from the twenties, to the current models (not all running or restored). Thus someone shares your interest.
Our Region, in accordance with our charter, follows the rules and regulations of the National organization. The Region, in order to maintain its recognized status, must insist that in order to belong the Northern Illinois Region, you must belong to the WPC Club, Inc.
There are benefits to National membership: the WPC News; advice from technical advisors; National meets, logos and other store items; and contact with over 3000 other MOPAR owners. The Northern Illinois Region membership entitles you to monthly issues of the Chrysler Tonic, our regional newsletter with notices of our regional events, tips and items of interest, along with the annual roster of members and our good fellowship.
Come out and try us on for size. Bring your spouse, a friend, or both. All are welcome. If you decide you like us, we would love to have you join our club!
